The tumour is characterized by papillary architecture and cells with abundant granular eosinophilic\/oncocytic cytoplasm.  The tumour cells have ISUP grade 3 nuclei and cover the papillary fronds generally as a single layer.  Many of papillary fronds are distended by foamy histiocytes.
