Welcome to Pathology Imagebase, a tool for standardization of urological pathology. This website was set up by prof Lars Egevad, The Karolinska Institute, during his presidency of the International Society of Urological Pathology. A panel of leading international experts in uropathology (listed under About) uploaded representative microphotographs of urological pathology. The images underwent independent review by the panel members and consensus cases are presented here. Our purpose was to obtain an international reference for grading and tumor classification. We hope that this tool will serve as an educational tool for pathologists all over the world and help to improve the quality of healthcare for patients with urological cancer.<\/p>\n
