Prof Rodolfo Montironi, Professor of Pathology, Polytechnic University of the Marche Region, Italy He obtained his MD at the Medical School of the University of Ancona in 1976, the board certificate in pathology and laboratory medicine at the University of Parma in 1979, and in clinical oncology at the University of Ancona in 1982. He received his advanced training in pathology in several British institutions, in particular at Hammersmith Hospital, London, with Dr. JG. Azzopardi. He is Former Director of the Uropathology Program, United Hospitals, Ancona, Italy; Emeritus Member of the College of American Pathologists; Past President of the International Society of Urological Pathology; and Former Chairman of the ESUP. He is a member of different international societies, including the European Association of Urology. He serves on the editorial boards of several international journals, including European Urology. His work is centred in genitourinary tumour pathology.<\/p>\n
